How bad will stock 7443's look behind cleared lights?
6 Auto stores and a Honda dealer later, I still don't have Amber 7440 bulbs. And apparently, no one makes them. So, I had one store order me Amber 7443's, but I'm still gonna clear the lights today.
So...2 Questions.
1. Does anyone make Amber 7440s? And where can I get them?
2. How ugly do the stock ones look under cleared lenses?

it just looks like the stock headlights do...or the parking lights...it looks ok..not too wierd...if you have HID or HID imatation change your parking lights with PIAA super plasmas or osmething like it and then change your 7443's to orange or amber...

Well, that's not terrible, and I did find colored 7440's.... So I'm good to go now... I'll clear them, and pop the bulbs in later.

Cleared headlights look ruined with the amber bulb during the day. It reflects in the sun and makes the whole corner a dirty orange. I would say just use the stock bulbs and get whiter H4s so there is a contrast at night. Cops shouldn't bother you that way.
i've got blue (super white) in all the lights right now. The turn signals looks awesome at night, but during the day looks a little stupid. The upper half on the corner is completley blue. i'm thinking about changing it back to stock 7443's.

I'm a little confused. So the stock 7443 bulb behind the amber colored lense is also amber colored?
If so...why wouldn't they just put a clear bulb behind the lense?[hr]

Look for Phillips vision bulbs...these look silver when off and shine amber when on.

If not, these guys have 7443 LED bulbs
One of the cheapest ways is to DIy yourself some bulbs. I sprayed my bulbs orange let the paint dry for about 12 hours and then spray over the orange with a silver high temperature paint. The outcome is the perfect bulb and a lot cheaper then the Philips version
