Angry 2017 EXL Compressor seal leak

Guess I may be luckier than some, as my compressor made it to 71,192 miles before needing to be replaced...But still, disappointed in Honda as my 2006 Jetta TDI that I purchased new currently has 317,000 miles with the same compressor that still works.
So, I guess it's going to be a Toyota or a Mazda for my next new car as I do not have confidence in Hondas quality anymore.

Good luck! Looks like the quality of new cars is decreasing https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a4...ive-this-year/

I'm having the same problem at about 65,000 miles on my 2016 EX-T. Do you expect the new seal to last more than 65,000-75,000 miles? Considering trading this one in. Might go with a Prius or other Toyota.

I received a letter from Honda the other day stating they are aware of the compressor seal issue and have extended the warranty. The letter also had instructions on how to get reimbursed for replacing the compressor. I filled out the forms and scanned the repair invoice and proof of payment.
I will post an update after I receive reimbursement.
