Whats wrong with my A/C

For some reason my A/C is acting up.

When i turn it on it dosen't seem like the compressor comes on. And i checked the fuses they are all fine.

could it be a feon (sp?) leak

would this be covered under my certified used warranty?

right now its abouit 90'F around here in NY... i need this fixed

Well if your compressor doesnt come on, you could have a leak and the low pressure switch is preventing the compressor from coming on, you could have a faulty compressor relay not allowing the clutch to engage on the compressor, a wiring problem. best bet would be to take it in.

I seem to have the same problem...looks like I'll have to take it in. Supposedly the power line to the compressor is getting a current, so I don't know why it's not kicking on. Any suggesstions?

If you are low on refrigerant, it wont kick on. The compressor can be damaged if it is running with no refrigerant and oil running through it.
