2014 Civic LX intermittent starting issue

Hey all, I'm having an issue when trying to start the car it may not crank but after trying a few times it eventually will. Not sure if it is coincidental but sometimes taking the key out and flipping it helps. Battery is good, I did replace the ignition switch which seemed to help for a couple weeks but now back to this random issue. Some days it starts no issue and others it might take a couple turns of the key. To me I automatically think a starter relay but this number 2 relay under the hood is nothing that I'm used to seeing. Do these types of relays go bad often?

It really feels like something is not allowing power to get to the starter. Once the power gets there it starts like normal. I'm stumped.

if made in 2013 (Model year 2014) it lasted for 8 years, if made in 2014, lasted for 7 years.
but we don't hear much about starter relays failing.
potentially solenoid is stuck, wack the starter motor a few times and try again

you can also remove the starter motor and test it to see if gear pops out and spins
do you hear any noises when turning the key but doesn't crank?

Usually no noises but sometimes a single click. Then a few more attempts and it starts right up. I'll probably just remove the starter and get it tested.

You can test it yourself with jumper cables, might need a screwdriver as well

Same problem here. 2013 LX 150k mi. When turning the key a single click and starter not engaging. Battery and terminals, starter relay, neutral safety switch are OK. Turning the key second or third time or shifting the gear N to D and back to N helps.
