Best Oil For Honda's?

Just curious what kind of oil you guys are using. My 99 civic has 95,000 and I was thinking of using 5-30 either QuarkerState Defy or Valvoline MaxLife. What do ya think?

Re: Best Oil For Honda's?

you know this question gets covered about 3 times a week. we have something called the SEARCH option please use it.

the answer to you question is that there is no single best oil because it depends on a lot of variables. use any good quality oil and you're set.

Re: Best Oil For Honda's?

for an older car with unknown engine condition, its hard to beat maxlife 5w30. may want to run auto-rx.com treatment first to really clean it out.
