No Steve, I'm not going to the track. I quickly came to my senses on that one. No, I don't know what caused it, but I suspect it's from detonation/misfires. On warm re-starts, it seemed like the ECU and EMS would fight when over the MAP signal and fuel wouldn't dump properly and she would misfire (not in boost, just vac), and throw CELs. No telling what it was doing under boost even though it wouldn't throw a code.
K-pro and built gut is the way to go. Plus a regular dyno tune. I rolled the dice and lost. No big deal.

well i dont think you lost...i think youll be ok, just take it easy on it. and build it up when you got the time. i think you shoudl build a spare block.

Got no spare parts other than the block, rods (soon), and pistons brother. This block will be built before I come back to the states though.

how do i make bigger injectors (450cc if i remeber correctly) fit under the OEM fuel rail? i am not at my car so i cant try it myself. my mechanic called and is having a issue right now with it. what have you guys done to make them fit?

I just added shims below it. For example, the rail currently has some plastic black washers that are a half inch thick. I have a second motor so I just doubled up on the plastic washers and it fit.

wow, this is why I'm happy I just spent 3,000 for the dezod kit. buying cheap kits= problems and ****. At least Ill have everything.

I blew a lot of headgaskets when i was not tuned then i blew my engine now my car has sat for years, Currently turboing my Gsr ek hatch, now thats gonna be fun and should have 300whp.

I've parted out and cut up my car, Ben apparently sold his car, Andy parted out and sold his car, Justin drives his Civic once every other full moon on Feb. 29th....the OG turbo TEARS folks have all moved on....
