i was wondering about that IC's clearance too....it's pretty big....i don't think it'll clear a stock bumper......
Re: T.E.A.R.S. - Turbocharged Engines Anonymous Relief and Support Thread
does anyone here know boosted.es2? (I saw that redlineracing asked a question about another member and someone responded, so I might as well try my luck too). Im pretty sure most of you have seen that thread that i made. If someone in this thread knows him, can you try to contact him? He doesnt respond to my pm's, and now he blocked me on AIM. I bought an ex head from him, and I never got it.
On another note, I finally finished my turbo install, and I'm gonna get it tuned at church automotive this wednesday. I have a feeling that I'm going to be a t.e.a.r.s member really soon

Problems, always problems. Chris, in ref to your question, I've bought from in the past (twice IIRC) and didn't have a problem. I'm sure it will be fine and something came up like Tom suggested. In regards to boosted.es2, don't know. Hope it works out.
Idle is stupid stupid still. It will dip all the way down 11.5 sometimes and hang out down there. Makes me wonder about my coilpacks. Once the internet comes back up at my house (I hate this country sometimes) I'll look-up how to check them.
Dyno tomorrow though! She still runs like a raped ape on boost!

Just got some SRT Injectors and clips. Someone make me an offer on these RSX-S Injectors with all new o-rings still in the bags from Acura.

Everything goes on on Sunday. Little nervous without headstuds but it's only 7-8lbs. I'll get em on asap.
Re: T.E.A.R.S. - Turbocharged Engines Anonymous Relief and Support Thread
Has anyone had an issue with the Primary factory O2 sensor and piggy back units while tuning in the sense that the O2 conflicts and tries to change the AFRs ... does anyone have an AEM FIC who's had problems with the o2 sensor conflicting? are all of ur O2s plugged? unplugged? or any other piggy backs? is there a way to trick the ECU into thinking its in openloop ? can anyone help me out or O2 and tuning with a piggy back don't affect each other?

Rufus... I blew my HG on 7lbs without the studs... and I didn't even beat on it... it blew during a long highway trip sustaining 1lb.

Yep, popped mine on 7-8 psi daily.......she still runs & drives great....she just pushes coolant

I just need it to last the tune on the dyno. Then'll I'll be nice to it until the studs come in.

yeah i blew a HG 4 years ago when i was boost with the tsi kit @ 6lbs. as soon as that happened arp head studs went right in.
Re: T.E.A.R.S. - Turbocharged Engines Anonymous Relief and Support Thread
Wow, don't tune it with a blown headgasket. Its going to throw your afr's off....
You should only tune when the car is 100%.

You talking to me? My HG is fine, I'm just saying I'd like to get studs on there ASAP as cheap insurance.

Haha no man. Not sure how you guys got that. I just meant with people popping them off at 7lbs, I'd like to get studs as quickly as possible. Imagine finally getting your kit on, you hit the dyno and it pops. I'd rather get them on asap.

Heheh. I think I figured out my problem and where the squeal was coming from. Baby has picked up a nice knocking sound now. Good thing my rods are enroute....

It sounds bad. I'll take a little video of it tonight so you have an idea. It sounds like valve chatter outside the car (kind of) but it's easy to hear that it comes from downstairs and not the head. After driving it in this morning, I've decided against taking it to the strip.
