lol there are like 3 b20 manifolds. there is the high rise, then what your used to seeing the lowrise, and also a b18b obdI mani on the b20. i have 2 of them. either way its going to be a bit of fab work to make it fit. if its a f/I set up you may as well go with the d16y8 for the ease of install. its also one of the best flowing stock mani's made by honda

I had to get a special bit to cut which was 20.00 and 30.00 for aluminum. Can' t wait to get it on

unless you put baffles inside to smooth out the transitions for higher velocity its going to cause you a power loss. if you look at all the custom manifols the boosted guys are having built youll see what i mean. it looks exactly the same. a forced induction manifold need to flow volume so the transitions dont need to be so smooth, it just need to be able to hold a higher volume. a N/A maifold need to be able to flow air smoothly for the highest velocity not volume. here are a couple of articles i just searched for real quick that should help you understand what i am talking about.

first one explains velocity and volume and how it effects power:
Ideas: Flow Velocity, Flow Capacity, Flow Quality - Team Integra

this one explains different designs:
Intake Manifold Tech: Runner Size Calculations - Team Integra

I hope this helps shed some light on the subject and will keep people aware that building manifolds isnt just making one look pretty. the design of the manifold will greatly effect power

the larg square plenum design isnt good for flow. you would need to shape the entire inside for velocity. Good N/A I/M's spend countless hours on a flow bench. These motors like longer intake runners stock. what you have is ideal for a boosted car though. dont get me wrong. its just not going to provide you with the same benefit while N/A. it will take away from your top end after the volume of air it holds is used, because it will not flow at a high enough velocity to keep the plenum full. with air being forced in to it there is no need to worry about how fast air is being drawn in because it pressurized.

take a look at this manifold. i have never see anything like it. i was pretty impressed. i think it would be good for either application.

if you have seen the way it is set up inside its just just like a round tube the square corners are not square i just like the square look. i did my research it can go either way

the runners look square but there not i made them out of 3 inch aluminum round stock and i shave them down on the top and bottom to loose some weight adn they got in the way of the injectors. i will try to get some inside shots but i am finishing fab on a bracket for it so its not here and then it off to get polished but i will get you those pictures.
