srt-4 motor swap?
^^sell the NOS? has this board joined with the F&F board?
as for the civic/srt swap, lmao... nvm. before you even talk about what mods you need to get a k24/k20 fran into the 400whp zone, decide what you are going to do 1st. and after that, use the search button.

Saying I agree doesnt help anyone. If you wanan d*ckride, rep him and leave it at that. (sorry for being so blunt!!)
Anyways... I still support you trying to drop the SRT4 into the vic. It hasnt been done before so thats why people trip over stuff like this thinking it cant be done because a DIY doesnt exist. I dont think you'll get very much for your D17 motor, in the ball park of 600-1,000 depending on condition and miles- more along the lines of 700 or so.
That will give you about 6k to do a swap. You might have to go around looking for other stuff to sell. You will be able to get rid of the subframe moste likely, NO idea what that goes for- 200 maybe? A few harnesses and random crap like radiator and fans, power steering maybe?? With a decent part out, you'll have some bucks to add to that 5g's u got. If you make buddy buddy with some shops mechanics and owners and stuff, be in there all the time asking questions and pitch your idea, they might wanna jump on and help you. Like I said, getting in a magazine isnt something you should cross your fingers for but I'd be kinda suprised if you didnt end up in a tuner mag. with this swap. Thats promotion for the shop that does the swap too...
This whole thing just gets me thinking though. It wont be cheap, but you already know that.
On another note, my friend has turbo'd his last 5 cars or so and is a mechanic with an srt4. He said the power on that thing is unbelieveable and scares the **** outta him. If you almost died with the motor in your previous car, think about if you wanna almost die crashing a swapped vic? That would really suck.

dont waste your time man. if you got 5 grand to " play with " then play with it on a k20a2. just like the others said above, its gonna be a pain in the *** just to put this motor into your civic. and a lot more then 5 grand will be needed. sell the srt-4 motor away and get the k20a2 engine swap, or even a k24 engine, and drop it into your civic and use the extra money left over to fix up your new motor. and trust me, playing with a k series motor is a lot more fun the playing a srt-4 motor.
and no disrespect to dodge fans but yea...its a dodge. worst of all its a neon. even though its an srt-4, a neon is a neon. i know its fast but thats just the way how i look at it.
well...if money grows on trees for you, then try and do the srt-4 motor swap. nobody has done that before. good project to work with.

I'm kind of exited to this done.
Unless you'll do all fab work yourself, then it cant be very expencive.
As far as wiring goes, I dont see this as an obsticle, its not that hard.
You need to gut out Civic wiring for good, and use complete SRT wiring. To get SRT wires hooked up to lights, heater, radio, fuel pump.
You'll end up w/o ABS and ignition switch with steering wheel lock and some other toys, but ECU will remain SRT, the gauge cluster will have to be SRT too.
My concern would be Axels and shift linkage.
