ok enogh is enough with the motor swap crap ive been looking around the posts and i see nothing but i wanna put an h22 in my lx will it fit? hey heres an idea......work with what u got!!!!!!!! our motors may not have as much potential as a b16 or an h22 but with time im sure some 1 somewhere will think of something. instead of thinking well lemme get intake, headers, exhaust and a 150 shot of nos.....then oh man i cant do n e thing else.....BULLSH*t.....what about the mechanics of the motor?...............cam, cam gear, fuel system (injectors, pump, highflow filter)i mean come on theres so much more then spending 2500 or more on a new motor. the hks turbo will be out soon enough and with the turbo kit u will have to do all the mods i said b4...so get started.....i mean i just ordered a brand new head from honda so i can port and polish it.....$300 in labor for an extra 15-20 horse i mean i spent more on my intake. because face it most of u have yer car about 1 year or less and yer gonna swap mototrs......i dont think so. sorry if i sounded like a ***** but everywhere i look its the same garbage

Rep Power: 0 << SOUNDS GRET TO ME, 15-20HP GAIN. hOW MUCH WAS THE NEW HEAD >>
he's getting a new motor, not just the head. that's a 70 HP gain at the flywheel, compared to an EX.

Rep Power: 324 Ya, my question is how much did you spend on parts? For the new head, I mean. You said 300 smackers for the labor, but forgot to add the cost of the head. And while you're at it, might as well buy the head from the CR-V. It will substantially improve the HP gain. I don't know the engine number, but I think it's like H24 or something.
