Just wondering how much it will cost to do a K20A3 swap into a 2002 Civic SI-G and what i would all need to change around??

K20A3 you can probably do for 6000-8000 CDN Installed.

ok sweet. I would also want to order a ECU from hondata or do you know of a better place. Would like it to be chipped and have a good map on it already or can you only do that when your tunning it>? I would like to Do a K20a2..........and what other stuff would i all need?? just motor mounts??

Hondata is hands down the best ECU for tuning, and the first thing you should do when modding your car for performance. K20A2 would probably run you over 10, 000, especially here in Canada. That's to do it properly of course. There is a list on here of all the things you need, search for it I'm too lazy to do it.

Thanks bud. was the installing $10,000 for installing or both?? I did a B16A swap into my civic EK and the engine was $3100 and the installing was $980. I have a shop out here that does special honda stuff. I ordered it from JDM Racing Engines.com but where would i get This K20a2 or k20a3 from??

That's just the thing they are so hard to find here in Canada. The best place to get it is from a donor car that has been in an accident. The b16 swap is far cheaper than a K20 swap, and the 10k is basically install and the engine. You can order them from online places but a lot of them are shady as hell. Be careful, there was one place but I can't seem to find it any more I'll search and see if I can get it for you.

Hi first post :

I was wondering if you could swap a Accord engine in to a Civic ? I was thinking something like J30A DOHC VTEC.

Or could you give me some ideas for a swap into a 2004 Honda Civic DX.

Your options are a K20 unless you can modify a lot of stuff Accord engine has been done but its a lot of work.

its not a lot more work, doing the swap is work, cover the egr, the lower rad house adapt. and thats it,

Never said a lot more work, I said its a lot of work They are both labour intesive swaps, I wasn't comparing them.
