Re: ecu reflash

if you switch the ecu then yes take it to honda, prolly gonna have to tow it there unless you swap the ecu in their shop.

Re: ecu reflash

you either need to have it towed to honda and have the a2 ecu reflashed or use a k20a ecu since it doesn't have an immobilizer, not all dealerships offer ecu reflashing so call ahead and get a price quote. Typically k20a ecus sell for between 300-350 on a k20a.org, that's the option I would choose since it might not start when you get it to Honda and two tows and the reflash will start getting expensive.

Re: ecu reflash

Re: ecu reflash

Don't go with k20a ecu if it's a d17a2 engine, it won't work.

Re: ecu reflash

you are going to have to take your car to the dealership locksmiths can't do it.
I've tried that before they said they can and when they came they had no clue what to do and then said they can only program the key and I ended up having to pay them for coming and doing nothing.
