sounds like you didnt really read the DIY... well if you read it properly you would see that in the parts list it states that you need:

subframe from either and rsx or 02+civic si

i forgot the most important thing that i forgot to add to the list of things your going to need for the swap if it didnt come with one already

you are going to need the CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER which attaches to the tranny that pushes the clutch padal on the tranny in and out for the clutch to engage. i remember when i was doing the swap and i thought i had everything... but that was the one thing that was missing that wasnt on the parts list that hasport has..

I think a shop in boston can do it for $7500 installed but I am still researching in case its b/s. 3-5k sounds really reasonable.

When swapping a k24a1 frank into a em2, what half shaft should I use with the ep3 axles I already have? Seems like I read somewhere that the k24 and k20 half shafts are different. Also, should I use the crv o2 sensor?

k20a2 5spd?

so i want to do the k20a2 in my 01 civic ex coupe and make the type-R the way it should have been in a civic coupe body cept i also am hoping for between 300-350 hp all motor but what im worried about is i hear the stock type-s brakes its tires loose in the first two gears so i was thinking i could use the 5 spd instead so my second gear is taller and it will alsot help me keep an illusion of stock which i would like to do as long as posible so basicly im asking does any one know if its been done and if it could stand up to that much power
thanks

powersteering no... a/c.. uhh.. it kkinda depends on how you route it.. thers 3 different ways... you can use the EP3 ac lines... rsx lines (this is what i am using) and/or get custom lines made

I read somewhere the clutch line needed for the swap would not work with the civic master cylinder? Do I need a rsx clutch master cylinder? I already have the slave with hardline attatched.

im still using the civic master cylinder. i havent changed anything and i am sure everyone else that has done it still uses the original master cylinder. the only thing you need is the clutch lines from master to slave.. nothing more.
