look at his write up. I think it says the 02+ si axles. the cheapest, yet the most hard to find route

yes read the diy.. it says it in there..

but you can use the axles from any EP3 si... it has to be a 4-lug ep though.. and you can also use the BASE rsx axles as well...

Very nice... Any chance you'd know where to get the c101 pin-out on the 05-06 k20z1?

Or am I stuck buying a helms manual or something? heh

Re: DIY: K20/K24 into 2001+ Civic **Updated 1/7/2007**

anything non-si is the same as the 01-05 dx/lx/ex.... so basically if you are putting in a non-si radiator it is the same as putting in the original radiator that came with the car when you bought it with the D17... which defeats the purpose of putting in a ep3/rsx radiator to begin with...

i got my aluminum radiator for around the 250-300 price range.. you might as well get the right one

what type of radiator/ fans are you using? i suppose its the ep3/rsx radiator with those slim fans? You do know that the RBC doesnt work well on the k24 like the RBB does right? you actually lose slight power with the rbc on the k24. you gain about 10-20 horses on the k20 though....

you do know i am a post ***** on there with the same user name.. lol.. j/k.. u see i do post up a few on there and a member since march of 2005

if you do a search you will also learn that the reason the k24 doesnt like the rbc manifold is because the vtc can only go to 25 degress at the most.. the rbc likes to be up in 40 area which the stock 25 vtc cant reach

hence is the reason why i took out the k24 vtc and swapped in a 50 degree vtc from the type s..

as for the radiator.. i originally had a stock ep3 radiator.. now i got a koyo radiator for a dc5.. using a thin fal fan...

http://www.hasport.com/products/wiring.htm

it says on there that they need the k20 cores to build the harnass, does that mean its 300 bucks just for their labor?

also do you know if they need our stock EX harnass along with the K20 one? bc i want to send mine in while the motor is still sitting in my house.

thanks man

you cannot use your stock harness whatsoever.. you have to use a k20 harness.. no if and or but's around it

yea i know your on the other site lol, i just didnt want to state something without having a source...
i c about the vtc...i guess thats why most get theres modded to 45 degrees with the k24/k20 swap?
is that what you have right now the k24/k20 or straight k24?
I thought the si radiator would be sufficient y a koyo? bling factor lol?
