Last time I checked, these are the only digital FMU's you can really use on our cars without going ape **** and with a stand alone. Furthermore, I did not suggest an S-AFC over E-Manage. I would never say such a thing UNLESS they already have a mechanism that controls ignition timing and S-AFC was strickly used for fuel adjustments.

It's too bad Joe is selling that vic. There's a local shop that's getting a dyno within the next couple of weeks here. I sure wish I had the cash at this moment to be a part of the test seeing Joe and I could work closely together on it. Just sucks that I gotta put every dollar I make towards my wedding next year, otherwise I'd already be boosted by now.

Wedding > Boosted Civ

I envy you, if that makes you feel any better.

Haha...I'm not try'na say it's a bad thing getting married. It's just that I had to put back the plans that I had for this summer. My whole goal last summer to be boosted for this summer, but this just puts things back and I guess it's not big deal.

It's called maturity man. If this weren't my $$ maker, I would not have EVER boosted the Civic.

True true. Good point man. Well I don't want to let this get off topic so we'll continue on with your turbo. I saw the dyno run you posted up after getting the boost controller fixed. Impressive numbers at 5psi on an auto.

Correction-7.5psi

fuel set-up is top secret!!!!!

RSX Type S injectors
E-Manage (optinal upgrade to help control them)

^^Proven works to 8.5 PSI without any fuel pressure adjustments.

im going to switch from vafc rsx-s inj. msd pump, and aeromotive digital fmu. and use that with the emanage. But with the addition of the emanage and injector and ignition harness, will the fmu be used at all or will the emange map just do it's job for it?

Opto I believe is running a very similar set-up EXCEPT he is return fuel system w/ an adjustable FPR, E-Manage & RSX Injectors.

It can jolt you back, but can be VERY smooth like a stock turbo car. We have yet to dyno it on a 5 spd, which will make a huge difference. So worse case scenario, being an auto, your looking at 147WHP on 7.5 PSI.

I didnt even realize how much i butchered the last post. I was at school and had only a minute to post that. good job at reading my jibberish dezod.
How come such a low whp rating for auto civics? Is it because of the lag do to rpms? If so, I would sugest you test a T28BB... it will spool significantly faster.
Turbodiscounters kit is running 165whp at 7psi on a T25.Not comapring kits, just stating turbo rating.
these auto numbers don't seem to impress. Ohh yes will I be able to have option to order a T28 still? think you said I could before.

sorry man what i typed and what i was thinking different. i didnt mean you were telling someone to use a safc or vafc instead of a emanage. that would be dumb advise. i was just referencing our discussion. either way you go with the vafc or safc you are hacking the car. cause if you dont use the larger injector then you are runing the risk of injector failure and if you use a bigger injector you have to "hack or trick" the stock program and adjust the fuel map. either way its a loose-loose. but really isnt the emanage basicly just a better version of these products. it still has to modify the stock sensor signal to achieve the same goal right?

The T3 spools quick. Don't get me wrong. It spools fully at 3000 RPMS and makes steady power up to and probably past redline. The thing that kills the auto is the ECU, shiftpoints & the transmission it'self. It's a power monger. It takes so much extra power to turn those extra gears in the tranny, plus the pre-porgrammed shift points in the ECU does not allow for sufficient use of the entire turbo's capacity under a given PSI setting. For example, 1st gear shifts at circa 3000 RPMS about 20-25 MPH. How the hell is the turbo gonna spool and such at that pace. Then second, same story at about 35MPH. If you could take to redline or close to every gear, that turbo is gonna spool 10 times faster and better. Simple.......

Thus creating more power.

correct, it still modifies the MAP, Injector or Inginition pulse signal to acheive it's results.

also its not good to always have boost build up on an auto. Boost should work better than stick though when you floor it, because boost is constantly building up. So autos technically should be better than a stick!!
examples are the supra! autos run faster times and are what they use in Nopi.
which is why i dont see how it has significantly lower horsepower....
**** I floor any auto car need it be a audi 1.8TT auto and it comes out to same horsepower figures as the stick. just have a little more lag..unless you gun it.
flooring my car it shifts at redline.
shift points can be reprogramed but the car is governed to 120mph.
I trully think your problem lays within the turbo that you choose for your application.
T3 is simply to big for our engines on auto tranny and engages to high, 3000rpm is a high engagement.
the t28/t25 are known to spool in around 2000-2500 rpms at most. This is a big differnce!
a t25bb spools at 2300 rpm....that means you can smoke the damn wheels from a start
honda engines lack torque this totally compinsates for the lack in high end power

i have a question, it may have been asked before though, but once someone pays for the kit how long before it reaches their door? are they gonna be pre-made whole kits or if one thing is on backorder we have to wait?

The part about your smaller turbo spooling quicker may be true, but if you spin the tires I'd say 3 times a week in the auto, bye bye tranny for you! This tranny can not hold that type of torque. It is a stock torque of 90 at the wheels. We are already pushing it harcorde with the turbo. You can choose whatever you want when you purchase. My car now has super strong mid range and nice top end that it never had. So.......I am pleased.
