hey dezod good job on the turbo kit so far. When I get your turbo kit I'm thinking of purchasing the AEM EMS. I hear this is way better than the e-manage. By the way did AEM release this for our cars yet.

hey dezod!!!!! I road in yourinmyworlds civic yesterday. We were blazing around at 7psi. He says he runs 7psi daily. he has a stick shift though... would you care to test running around for a couple weeks on 7psi in your auto? I just want to see how that performs.......
His car pulls like gods feet, literlly it feels like a differnt machine....Wrx's arent even that fast. some old muscle car el camino tried racing us and he just wiped him clean! I finally have seen the potential of boost in action and all I can say is
BTW we were flooring it on the freeway, can you really feel differnce between 5psi and 7psi? I mean is it that big differnce of push?
ohh ya let me know about 7psi daily thing

A Vortech or Aeromotive unit is an FMU as well, however IMO has less reliability due to past experiences with them. But to each his own.
The addition of an S-AFC or V-AFC does not require the use of larger injectors at all. OE equipment can be used on them. Larger injectors being used on this unit are possible, however it is a "hack" to do so. Hacks as well all know, are not THAT reliable.

its not really considered a hack if you change injectors. its really pretty simple to do. ive done it on several different types of vehicles. the only reason you could even use the word hack is because of changing the wires over. but if you can wire a stereo than you can do this.and if you cant wire an injector you shouldnt be boosting your own car, right?

if i wanted to be a "guinea pig" what would that cost me? or are u only looking at local boys?
im sure that the fitament would be the same if not easier for the 5spd cause the auto tranny takes up a lot of room, what would be included in the kit as of now? and what kinda price would i be looking at?

Uh yeah its not - but when you fvck with the MAP signal (such as when you change the injectors), and you run a VAFC or SAFC for turbo you are going to eventually destroy your car. Since the MAP signal is fvcked, the ECU thinks you are still on an NA ignition map, so it fvcks your timing over. This is why these are a bad choice when running boost - you can't account for the timing variance. Henceforth this is known as the VAFC hack - because you are tricking the car to make it work (it has nothing to do with the wires).

ive got another piggyback you guys should look into its called the perfect power computer model smt6.http://www.perfectpower.com/default.asp it can control up to 6 extra sub injectors and 128 map points. and its pretty easy to tune. this is what some of us domestic guys are using on cavi's and s10's.
