Well guys I just checked out my stuff.....Everything looks A-OK, but of course he didn't include the money they owe me. Plus, I'm not sure that the downpipe and dumptube are stainless - they are painted. BUT the welding job, fitment seems to be a hell of a lot better than before. The flanges are a LITTLE warped - nothing a gasket shouldn't fix. Tomorrow - a pre-final fitting of everything!! Expect lots of pictures (if it doesn't rain out).
and another week goes by without any news regarding my kit. i'm glad to hear some of you guys' things are working out, but i personally will be going another route once eddie's lawyer gets things settled with SF.

I managed to get a hold of Mike today, but he couldn't talk to me because he was dealing with the Police - something was stolen from his shop.
He just said my kit was in the mail & he will send the fuel system seperate when he gets the pieces toegether. I asked for a tracking number, but he blew me off with "I need to deal with this cop now, I will call you later!" He doesn't even have my number! I am not even sure he knew who he was talking to, he was in a hurry. If it was me he was talking about, then it looks like he split my kit up & sent parts of it to someone else instead of sending the whole thing to me directly when he got it back from sending it to the wrong person last month!

Well guys, bad news. The down pipe / dump tube does not fit. They welded it too far back, and it hits the AC lines. Additionally they forgot to weld 2 O2 bungs onto the down pipe, forgot my oil kit, and forgot my $250. So - after a brief discussion with Mike today, they are going to make me a new down pipe. I am going to have to have a custom dump tube made (From the stock they are sending me), since I had a custom manifold...More setbacks...
i have some questions for you guys who got your kits .... 1) on your turbo on the intake / compression side of the turbo are there 4 or 6 bolts ? i got mine and 2 bolts on the actual turbo is missing i called mike he said that its spposed to be like that but one of the bolt thats missing is on the actual intake side where the pipe from the air filter connects to so wont that hole allow any crap to be sucked into the turbo and possibly ruin it and or my engine? and also did any of you guys actually get written instructions on how to install ?

Well Crap Opto, that sucks, more setbacks, ug!
Well on a lighter note, I finally got Mike on the Cell at the tuxedo shop, and got some questions answered. Aparently my kit was sent a few days ago, missing a fuel kit & a pipe, but that will be sent next week.
My ported manifold was sent accidentally to someone else, so they had to make another, I wonder if my alch inj was sent with the red pipes too someone else as well?
I told him about the 340 cc injectors I will be using, & he decided to change the fuel system pressure plate to 10:1 instead of 12:1 because the larger injectors would put out too much fuel. But doesn't my e-manage injector size adjustment feature take care of that?
The fuel system he has is good for 400hp, so I don't need to upgrade my stock fuel pump.
I have to drive 6 hours to Houston to get this tuned, so I decided to do the install this way:
Install P&P head, Intake manifold with 340's, 74mm TB, and turbo & clutch/pressure plate & Phantom Grip LSD, UR pulley, open the wastegate to produce no boost, and drive it to Houston. Tune it & learn how to tune the e-manage myself. Drive home, install the camshaft, and tune it myself on dyno in my town.
Should I make any changes to any of the stock maps before I drive 6 hours to Houston, besides the injector size change? Will I mess anything up by doing this, or should I find some way to tow the car there instead?
I think with the larger air flow, I might be running lean, should I somehow adjust for this?

Here are a few photos:

You can see since the dumptube is routed behind the AC lines, it causes problems....
Plus, the compressor housing is like 1mm from the clutch slave tube.....man....

I'm sorry for you guys. I know how you feel cause the same thing happened with me and DH except I actually got something from them. Glad that Eddie is working with the gb members at least to resolve this. It doesn't take much time for SF to let their customers know order status. Busy or not, they should be giving you some info at least. Well, good luck with everything.

Nothing was stolen from their shop, it was a someone trying to sell a prototype turbo for a Sion that Mike installed on a customers ride that was for testing purposes only. And it was supposed to be tested for a while, then duplicated, but the guy just sold it to someone else instead, and Mike happened into the shop where they were installing it on someone elses ride! LOL
I don't think your turbo kit was stolen.
Well, simply put, I don't care, and if they see this, they don't need to bother finishing my kit anymore. I'm getting a refund. It's getting close to 5 months, and the point of it is that Eddie has my $3000, SF has Eddie's money, and I don't have the product I paid for.
Edit: And if my kit wasn't stolen, that means they definitely don't have a valid excuse for why my kit is over a week past the deadline we set for a refund.

I contacted www.ifccfbi.gov and the better business bureau. The more people that contact them the more they will crawl up SF's a** and get our money back!
it showed up unannounced at my door. UPS shows "billing info received", and suddenly "delivered". the piping's the wrong color, I have a SF logo on my intercooler, which I didn't want, and I'm missing a few couplers, a t fitting and a line. there's the typical number of scratches and such on my piping, at least there aren't any huge dents. I hope it all fits. I don't think I want to deal with SF ever again after this is worked out.
Cocky guys kick ass!
