But as for internals, i dont even have so much as a block guard. I will prove it with pictures when i actually do upgrade the internals.

and as for this

I worked on the car. I know it exists. Not trying to sway any opinions, just straightening that out.
Do you still have your dyno at 8psi.. I would be curious to see the results.. I dyno'd mine at 10psi and got almost the same numbers you got at 8psi. What setup did you run on that. Just stock w/SF basic kit..

Guns, you might want to purchase the Synapse Missing Link (ML004). I know my car ran better with the missing link than it did with that SF isolation valve. You will get smoother transitions from negative to positive boost because it does a great job of bleeding off before the map sees it.

Only other thing I would suggest is to get a piggy back and tune. Maybe you are running really rich with your SF fuel system, I know I am.

I am running a little lean after 5,000 rpm.. I bought the Missinglink and the VAFC2. I have not been back to the dyno yet to tune.. But I did set VTEC at 4,000 rpm and adjusted fuel a little.. Feels alot better and w/ pure Methanol spray it screams at 11psi...

I might Dyno again this weekend. Found a Mustang shop for $25 a run.

Good advise thanks. Just a little late. I wish I would have had it before I got my kit.

I am thinking of doing the VW fuel rail/injector swap for more fuel.. Ask H-town Boy from SpeedFetish about it..

I guess we'll find out. I should be getting mine soon...I hope. Seems as though a PnP job would be similar from place to place.

Yes, they all have different techniques and secrets. RSCivic has the DH ported head and her first reaction didnt seem very good but then again she said the roads were slippery. Hopefully she'll come back and give a nice review.

If it doesn't, i will take actions to correct this matter, and join the bandwagon of knockers................

Keep it low until some dyno's come out.
Amen to that man!!! I'll have the second DH block, they already started mine .

Good luck, PM me on your luck, I should have mine a lil less than 2 weeks now...

Interesting thing about this - no one seems to want to worry about fuel management with their new shortblock setups....The ECU isn't going to like this - only solution is to go EMS or E-manage with a return conversion....Can't wait to see some actual #'s if this works out for whomever bought these.

I have a VAFCII if that counts? I'll be getting the ported head soon and hopefully take it to a shop for tuning. This will be on a stock car, so it should give a good comparison. I hope this head is worth it, because after parts and install, it's pushing $1500.

yeah, this post speaks for itself I think. So many pages of knocking DH because they seem too busy to post dynos...and they could rectify these problems for how much? 100 bucks max? Just kinda sucks. I'm very surprized Josh hasn't been in here responding.

I respect Josh for not responding until he has proof, if that is what he's doing. I am not knocking DH products, I hope that is not the impression that I have given anyone. The spacer thing was the only time I called out their products.

And yes it does suck that he doesn't show us dyno's for each of their products it's not like it's time consuming. Kinda makes ya think doesn't it.

EDIT: Now that i think about it the things I mentioned were more related to their business practices. i.e. testing, r&d

It sucks about no dyno, but alot of other products don't have dynos, either. Spark plugs, intakes, exhaust, ground wires, air filter. Granted these are cheaper mods, but everything I've put on my car has been without having a dyno for gains. I just assumed they were performance parts. Funny how that works.

I actually paid $250 for an AEM intake that I thought would give me 10-15 hp. Well it maybe gave me 1hp and took away from low end.

yeah it really does......A company servicing such a large population of 7thgen owners. You think they would present something other than their word and their reputation as proof that their product is high quality and useful to the performance community....holy !@#$ that was a long sentence.

And everyone who keeps telling the skeptical members who haven't yet purchased anything from DH may need to reconsider as far as I am concerned. I need real results before I dump my cash into any mod...I need to hear from someone who has tested the product through an extensive process that it is exactly what DH says it is. Therefore, it may very well be those of us who haven't purchased anything from them that could be their best customers if they took the time to dyno....

Everyone who keeps telling people like me, simply because I haven't blindly sent my money and engine to a company which i DO NOT trust, needs to put themselves in my shoes. I don't live in Callie and can't go up to DH's shop and be like, "hey, I got this civic that I want to haul ***, convince me to use your product." Everything is done electronically these days and I am doing business with a company that I do not trust. To gain my trust, DH should take a bit of their time to give us all what we want...enough said. It is rather shady indeed.

It seems as though DH is a well-established company that has lots of customers. I'm playing on the idea that they have to live up to their promises. If their ported head makes less than 20whp, I will make sure nobody on this site buys anything from them again. They will lose all sales from this site and a big part of their customer base. So I'm hoping that the promises will be real for everyone's sake.

No offense man but you are the type of person they go after. Make claims, get someone excited, they buy your stuff.

There's really no need to keep this thread alive, hopefully DH will end it with some results. I hope they can make 30whp with their intake mani/tb combo I'll be all over that ****.
