I was driving to the gym tonight as i do almost every night and this ranger in front of my is swerving hard core. im like screw this, so i fly around him. Well then this guy comes flying up and i see a chick hanging out the passenger window and puke is all over the side of the truck. And im like these people are trashed so i slow down cause he wanted to race or something. I wanted nothing to do with this moron. Well he guns it and boom, hits a curb come flying back at me luckly i was far enough away that he didn't hit me. spins out and hits a tree at like 10mph. From the way he hit it the drivers side of the truck bed was dented. i didn't stay cause the cops around here profile imports, and probably woulda gave me another BS ticket.

the wreck was behind me, so technically i was not leaving the accident, just continueing on my way. and yeah i called the poilce to report it.

leaving the sceen of an accident is a bigger crime man. u didnt do anything wrong...THEY WERE the ones that were drunk..

That's a tough call. I originally thought that you're retarded for driving away like that, but I see your point.

Solution: call the police and say you think a car behind you crashed. What will they say to that? The report is that you were ahead of them when they crashed, so you were racing someone far behind you?

neon can probably tell you whether it was illegal or not. or injencivic. i dont know what constitutes leaving the scene. even if you were only a witness, i dont think technically you have to stay, but hell if i know.

anyways it was a minor wreck(probably a busted rim and a dented in bed) and i would have probably stayed if he wasn't drunk, but wasn't in the mood to mess with some drunk who already wanted to race me.

if the passengers/driver werent injured, i would say it'd be all good because leaving an injured citizen/driver/person like that is pretty harsh wheather or not your driving a "hooked" up civic. thats just me, i would've felt bad cause i didnt help the people.
