Ok, well, I was being stupid and took a corner way too fast and smacked a guard rail with the right side of my civic. Basically it owned the front bumber, headlight, and fender and the whole right side is scratched. Anways, I never thought I would look into a body kit, but now that this happened, I wanted to see if anyway knows of a very clean, simple kit. I dont want anything really aggresive or anything, just something different. If anybody knows names or has pictures I would appreciate it. Luckily my insurance will take the damages, but I know they will own my rates....






That is why, when everyone thinks about being sweet and taking a turn really fast, remember this...

Damn, not another civic. Well atleast your okay, right? My sister wrecked hers the 23.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] And she's only had the car for about a month or two! Just two nights ago she TOTALED the rental!!!! The damn tire blew and i guess she then ran into something. She says that she doesnt remember anything. Now she looks like a lion or something. Ah man, that sucks about your car. I would have to say go with something like the Kaminari kit, its urathane and its not too wild, and looks clean.

If you price up the OEM parts and compare them to the prices of the kits, there is not alot of difference in the end, and it will be worth it.

ya be real careful on turns. i tested the limits of my springs on my prelude one to many times and ended up flipping the car and landing on the roof. not fun at all. and for all you winter drivers out there, be careful guys and dont do anything stupid.

Ive grown to learn, that a person only needs to race when it's worth it otherwise just back-off.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG] hope it doesn't take too long

Check out my kit. Simple and clean. Also Cheap. But I had to spend 5 days fitting it to my car myself. Hell if I am going to pay someone 750 to install a bumper. I am getting it painted after the winter. My link shows the steps I took to get that sucker on. It's holding up really well to. I have grounded out a few times too. Just lil scatches here and there.

Yeah the Kaminari doesn't look too bad, I woud put the Xenon front bumper on my ride if I had to choose a front bumper. The dealer has one here and it looks really good.

Your not alone Ducatti my friend did the same thing he took the turn to fast in his 2000 civic ex and hit the rail..He totaled his car doing that he had the fiber glass front bumber that shattered and he bent his frame the whole front right side was destroyed..Now he has a 2000 US Si..lucky basterd

Sorry what happened to your ride ducatti, the oem kit is pretty nice I like the kaminari kit the best though if your looking for a clean look that looks subtle and not too agressive

I agree..... the OEM kit or the Kaminari kit are the way to go if you want to have a clean look to the car. Any other kit has huge *** front bumpers which aren't too subtle. If you want something wilder you should check out fiber image's body kit **DROOL** Its what I'm saving up for eventhough its gonna cost an arm and a leg.
