Bleh.

I just got into an accident while coming home from swim practice. Ok, there is a little shopping center on the right and 2 lanes next to it. One lane is for right turns, the other is to go straight. I decided to go straight and as I accelerate I see a f*****g Bronco come barrelling out of the exit. Oh ****. He slams into me and the airbags go off. It all happened so fast. Damn guys, its hard to breathe in there once those go off, i had to open the door. The guy comes rushing over "are you alright?!" Yes. Im ok. The only injury are burns at my wrists from the stupid airbags. I walk around to see my car...maaaannnn. The entire hood is bent and gnarled. My right headlight is completely shattered scattered along the roadway. My front bumper is totally cracked. And the right side of the fender is about 6 inches in. No word on the damage yet.

Ok, my parents insist I go to the hospital now, my arm is really gross. I just took a pic if anyone wants to see.

That looks like it stung a little bit. You should go to the hospital at least to get it looked at or cleaned up.

It looks a lot better now.

All that grey stuff was dust and dirt that the airbag flung at me. I washed it off and its basically just a big blister now.

I think I killed all the nerves in it, I poke it and don't feel anything

that sucks, u should of been taking to the emergency room, i was in an accident with my moms celica and like the guy ran into my side of the car in the front, smashed it up, 10k of damage, and like, i called the cops, and i was alright, nothing, i think it was a miracle or something. well the airbags didn't go off, cuz it was the side i guess, and well, like when i called the cops, the ambulance came too, and they took me toohte hospital immediately from there, and then some tow company came to tow the cars. surprised u weren't taken to the hospital. by the way, i work at a hospital, and there not that bad, just a ilttle slow in the er tho when its crowded. hope u got the guys info, u can probably sue him if its his fault, cuz when i was in my accident, the guy sued me for ****in 10k and he won, but that was through the insurance company, cuz it was my fault for not stopping, but i did, so i dunno. see what u can get. gl

Sorry to hear about your vic man. Hope your wrist heal ok. Its pretty scary when you can see it coming and theres nothing you can do about it. I wreck my vic 6 months ago. There was nothing I could do but just hang on and wait for it to stop.

lol ,, don't you just love those airbags ??,
when i was in a accident in my fathers corrola96 (40mph, front direct hit) )both of the front airbags opened ,,
they are so quick you can't even see them coming , first the impact of the crash sends you to the front , and the seatbelts stop you , and then boooom the airbags hit you and send you flying back ,,to the seat,, lol ,, after the crash i open my eyes and i can see only the white powder that comes off the airbags when they explode, so i think that the car is on fire ,, i jump out of the car like crazy ,,(people were looking at me like i was a weirdo) and then i start running away from the car ,, hehe after like 20 sec i notice that everything is okay besides my car ,,front was totally destroyed,
i had only small pain in my left hand cause i had it across the steeringwheel when the airbags exploded ,, you probably were holding the arm same way ?? weren't you??

Seriously, you should sue him. There is no law against being stupid or being a pain in the ***. But why not get a WRX or something if you get a bit of money. And I think you should go get that checked out at the hospital. Make sure your spine and all that is in good shape too.

Ok guys, its been a few days now.

My wrist is a lot better, its just kinda burned. I have some pics of the car. I went on saturday to the bodyshop and inspected my baby.

There are the definite things I will need

~2 new fenders. I may get some z3 ones, tell me what you think
~A whole new front bumper. Probably going to get a Tsunami
~A new headlight. I may just get some TYC projectors
~A new hood. Certain that I'm getting a CF hood.

I'm not sure about the internal damage yet. No one has really had a chance to pop the hood yet. The lady is coming from Reading to give me an estimate. The only problem is that there is a blizzard going on right now. I doubt she'll be able to appraise the damage until Wednesday. Hopefully the check amounts to a lot of money [IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]
