Well, I guess you know your car limits when you get into an accident... This is what you get for being stupid like me. Here's the story... It's 1 am, it's a downhill with turns and yes it's on the road not the track! I was pretty familiar with the turns because I have challenged them before I took rated 30 mph turns very well doing 50-60 mph. There is this one final turn that's rated 25 mph and I did 60 mph, of course as usual I do left foot braking and a bit of power sliding. Btw, I don't have much tread lyfe on my tires I believe my tires were nearly bald, so stupid of me... Anyway, unfortunately this tyme it had gone over board, I hit the curb then all of a sudden air bags deployed and car stopped on the shoulder facing the correct side of the road but 45 degrees from the correct side of the road. Eh? Anyway, this shows how ignorant I can be... Now my car is f'cked up... Hood alignment is off, passenger's side fender, is off... passenger's side tire is blown up and I think my rim(s) is messed up as well and so is my windshield is cracked... Of course what sucks even more, air bags deployed so I can't drive it... I just hope that the axle is alright... Well, just wanted to let you guys know, take things easy and don't be ignorant like me... Below are 3 pics of my car b4 the accident... First two shots were taken a week ago b4 the accident. Third shot is taken with a fellow 7th gen Civic owner which is my friend; it was taken 7 hours before the accident... And last three pics are the conclusion of my ignorance... No one else to blame xcept me...

Because you are ok I have no sympathy. Doing what you did is not only stupid but gets people killed. I hope you learned more than "dang I shouldn't have done that because it f**ked up my car."

yo, i agree with greatcasa on this one. i mean first, you knew your car wasnt in top shape (at least the tire condition), second you shouldnt have been doing somthing this stupid in the first place on public streets anyways.
i mean its good that youre ok and no one else got hurt, but when you do things like this youre putting other lives at risk, not just your own...and thats not cool.
from the way you describe your damage, you can very possibly have structural damage. i mean theres no scuff marks or dents on the body pannels, but your window cracked and the airbags went off...meaning that the sensors got shaken up pretty hard.

Sorry to hear about that happening. I am glad to hear you're ok. Be careful and (I'm not gonna lecture) but be considerate of the roads and the rules of the road. The signs are a little more than just suggestions. None of us are professional drivers on a closed track (commercial) and we drive Civics (most of us). So take it easy...

things like that happens, everybody has stupid lil accidents like that, all you can do is learn from your mistakes, actually the damage doesn't look that bad. but if your frame is messed up damn. and your airbags went off so that always isn't a good thing
Hey Edgard, it's Zell (if you haven't already figured out). You're not saying that happened the night after I left, are you? Dang, that really sucks but I'm glad you're alright.
Air bag sensors are more sensetive if the suspension is modified FYI.
Hope your ride is alright. From what I see, the outside doesn't look too bad (at least compared to my accidents in the past.
) I hope the chassis didn't flex too hard. There are alignment shops for that but the results aren't always perfect but that depends on how bad the frame's bent.
