Re: My EM2
Well, one day, about 2 years ago, I decided that it would be cool to take an angle grinder and cut my shifter in half and slap a ractive shift **** on it. It was a lot cheaper than buying a proper short shifter kit and easier to do. Technically, it still served it pupose; the shifts are a bit shorter and the expense of leverage, and I've since gotten used to the feel of it and it just feels weird any other way lol
tl;dr - I cut that bitch with an angle grinder and regret nothing!

Re: My EM2
Haha that's awesome...I like the feel of it now...it requires a bit more effort to push it through the gears...doesnt feel like the stick is flopping around, but its not like I'm forcing it into gear either.
Re: My EM2
Its probably a different feel. I couldn't imagine how it actually feels lol. Would love a short shifter, but would rather save for my drop.

Re: My EM2
"L7" Cluster overlay I believe it's called...they just stick on the stock gauges and have a separate power supply for the indiglow.
Yea it's mostly just stiffer, but I like it...coupling that with an actual short sift adapter on the linkage would probably make the travel like 3 inches lol.
Dropping the car should have been my first priority...but hey, at least I've got the means to do it now

Re: My EM2
And I like my headlights in terms of looks, but light output is low with stock bulbs, and inconsistent with HIDs. I'm soon getting a set of morimoto mini H1s to replace the stock projectors. Until then, they still work.

Re: My EM2
Figured I'd throw this up seeing as how I havent updated in a while. Got my ss brake lines in the mail, still need to order new fittings and tubing to replace the old hardlines in the rear.

Here's another recent pic:

Pic is blurry cause my camera takes horrible night shots...
Updated include fresh paint on my front and rear bumper and lip, and an led strip on the a/c condenser to attract some attention at the car meet I'm at in this pic. If you live in Ontario, this was taken at the Ertefa meet - the largest car meet in Ontario, with 1000+ cars showing up every thursday night!
Oh, and I also installed my rear discs and ss lines, but you can't see that from the pic.

Depends on how much you wanna spend....I'd say buy ground control coil sleeves and use them with tokico d-spec (hts series) struts or koni yellows, or buy a set of K-Sport KPros or Megan Racing Coilovers...but that's just me.
