Rep Power: 0 Been looking at more cars...
Since my wreck i've been researching other vehicles. I loved my civic, but think its just time for something new. One car I keep coming back to is the Scion TC. I went to look at them in person today. They didn't have a manual, and only had 1 automatic on the lot so I drove it just so I could get an idea.
It was very comfortable with lots of storage for stuff in the cabin. Very quiet ride. I won't really speak of the power because I was in city traffic and didn't want to get on the highway with it because of storms that were coming in (didn't want to get caught in that). The rear seats recline, and the interior was very nice. If the 5-speed drives half as good as I expect it to, I think I'm gonna have this as my next car.
The sales person kept talking about "Pure Price" where all dealerships have them all at the exact same pricing and there is no negotation. I called a really good friend of mine who is a manager at Toyota (but no scion), and he said that is true, they don't neg. on scion prices that everyone pays the same. But for all that you get with this car I was highly impressed with the price.
I had the manager give me prices so I have an idea what i'm looking at if they do total my car. Won't know anything for a week or so, till the adjuster looks at it.
He quoted me 2007 Scion TC Manual w/ opt. side air bags : 17,590 + TTL , $19,600 OTD. This is cheaper than I payed for my LX in 2002.

Rep Power: 787 i think theres another value model or something thats alot cheaper and doesnt come with alot of stuff which if you mod your car is prolly better since youre gonna replace them anyway.

Rep Power: 0 I share My 01' EX Coupe with my twin brother and I am beginning to look for my own car and I also am looking into a brand new tC 06 most likely or wait for an 07. As much as I like my civic the 8th gens are more expensive than the tC and I like how the tC looks and all the optional equipment you can get with it (ex...stereo upgrade and all that) the only problem is they have not been around long enough for people to know if they last long like Honda's do...but then again they are built by Toyota who's cars last pretty long.
