Now I know the stock D17 motor that come in the 7thgen civic is not a good platform to build up on if you want a lot of power but I was just curious if anyone here knew what is the 7th gen with the most H.P. with the D17 motor. Also motor has to be N/A so no turbo, supercharger, or Nitrous ( and of course no swap).

um, my guess would be 10 turtle power

yeah i know they are slow but i know there has to be some crazy tuner out there that got pissed at everyone calling the d17 slow and made something out of it.....not that I have any intentions on building on it but just crossed my mind

supermex has, but his is turbo and nitrous
wihtout power adders like that...ehh not happening

Andyman97 and Supermex both have awesome cars, but they're both fully built Turbo motors. I would be curious to see who has actually gained the most with n/a components

yea, i kinda would too, b ut it isnt gonna b that much, my guess is about 140-150whp of that

i think the best option is to turbocharge...i will not play with the sohc engine..well at least for me...turbo gained more hp
