Rice burner
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rice burner is a pejorative used initially to describe Asian-made — specifically Japanese-made — motorcycles and automobiles. Many variations have also been used, such as rice rocket for Japanese sport bikes.
More contemporary use of the term rice burner, along with the prefix rice, has taken on an alternate pejorative meaning for an automobile that has been modified to give impression of high performance, but does not necessarily have any high-performance capabilities. This practice is in direct contrast to the "stealth" or "sleeper" style of automotive modification, where a vehicle may have major performance modifications, but the appearance remains similar to that of a stock model. In this manner, the appellation can apply to any vehicle regardless of country of origin. The most commonly modified cars are sport compacts, but the term can apply to any class of vehicle, including trucks.

Well I didnt really have a Ricer Stage...
I had a 04' RX8 as my first car, brand new I might add. First modification I did was a GReddy Catback followed by Rotary Performance Midpipe. The only thing wrong with the car was it being Automatic.
With the exhaust upgrades I easily shot out 2 1/2 Ft Flames during High RPM Shifting (tiptronic).
Got tired of having problems with the car and traded it in on a 05' Tacoma PreRunner, was about 1 1/2 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile then traded it in for a 06' Tacoma X-Runner and bought the 91' MR2 Turbo.
So really no ricer stage for me, lol.

Well, when I had my s10 before I got my civic I had 3D euro lights which I was ready to take off if I didnt seel it, then I had blue underglow which i regreted buy as soon as I started installing it, and I had m3 style mirrors which werent too bad because s10 mirrors are huge and they look better than stock.
And on my car I have the dual projector headlights on it. They arent bad looking to me and I get lots of compliments on them. But I am wanting to go back to stock ones painted black.

i hate any little douce bag that gets ANY car bought for them. i had to buy every single car i've ever had. i've NEVER been given a car. and no, paying the insurance on it doesn't count. you have to pay the car payment, insurance, gas, tires, maintenance, EVERYTHING. until you do that, i don't want to hear anyone complain about their car. until you can do all that, you don't know what responsibility it takes to own a car. i started working when i was 14 to pay for my first truck. it was a POS 1983 ford ranger, but i loved it because it was all mine and i knew that i had earned it. i'll be damned if my daughter thinks she's getting a car handed to her. she's going to work for it.

The only thing I see wrong when a 16 yr old getting "daddy to buy him a new car" is if he is going to go out and wreck it. There is a kid in my town who got a brand new C6 Vette who slammed it into a Brick Wall trying to drift. It was fixed alittle over a month later, then ran up over a curb with 3 broken wheels and obviously would need suspension work. So he took a $45k Car, caused $18k Damage a month after he had it, fixed it, caused another $5k+ Damage and still didnt learn because he almost rear-ended someone last night.
The problems I had with my RX8 was not at my cause, plenty of people over RX8 forums were having trouble with "gears slipping" and other stuff.

I did a the DIY LPR (License plate relocator) a long time ago and this is how it came out. And no... it's not like this right now. It's back with the factory HUMP on the center of my car.
