I just wanna ask a couple things just to see how my progress with my car is comming along. I wanan know how old were you when you got your civic, how old you are now (which basically shows how long uve had it) the yr of ur car how much $$ in MODS youve put, what are your mods and are you a full time student//work. Anyways Ill start

i think thats it..
2630$$ canadian in mods and im a full time student part time worker

I just bought my first Honda two days ago. I'm 35. No mods. Stock 96 Civic Ex 119,400 original miles

And actually, I am hoping that someone could point me in the proper direction of where to post pictures of the car (engine, body, interior) for information collection. I don't really know as much as probably most of you. I've done some reading online and gather that this car came with 1 specific engine for this year and type? Not 100% sure and I would like to know more about my car basically. So point me where to take my photos and where people here can perhaps pass on some knowledge about what I have bought.

Damn, I got my first civic (85 crx) in 1993. That poor car. It lived a hard life for 3 years. I've owned 4 more crx's since then, as well as a 91 hatch, and now have a 2002 ep3 SiR. Damn, I've spent half my life driving Hondas!

I got a 97 ford escort station-wagon with electrical tape racing stripes as a graduation gift at 18, and when that blew up (as ford cars are wont to do) I got a 92 civic dx which blew a head-gasket after 2 years and that little trooper made it to 340k miles and I replaced it with what could have been a nice 97 accord, but it was totaled, then I financed my 2001 Honda Civic Ex Coupe for $4700 (a good deal, I think it was worth almost $6k!). She's my pride and joy and she taught me all about electrical systems and car interior design, soon she'll teach me about exterior gloss paint that won't look ghetto (I hope!).

i had 25 when i got my First Civic back in 2005, a year after it's been stolen! this is the only Pic i got of My '90 Civic Si! i bought an '86 Civic Sedan Right after!

I bought my first Civic DX in 2001, brand new from Nyack NY. White coupe, tan interior, manual with the hubcaps. I had 7 good years with that car. I was 29 when I bought it.

I know it's an old thread but I don't care. Let me have my fun.
I was 14 when I got my green manual '01 coupe. Bought it for $500 with 245,000 km. Needed a drivers side window regulator and had the DRL/SRS combo on the dash. I (mostly my dad) resoldered the connections for the DRL and cleaned up the seatbelt buckle for the SRS light. Threw some winter tires on it and I drove it until I was 19. Timing belt snapped at 311k in January of 2019. What you need to know about me, however, is that my cars are indestructible, meaning the timing belt snapped at TDC. My brother started driving it shortly thereafter, and then it was ultimately sold in August of 2021 at 326k.
