Im 18 and about to buy my first civic. I found this 5 speed for $2000 with 130k miles and wanted to know if it was a good buy it looks a little beat but thats ok with me. No rust but an Rtitle

Bought a brand new 02 ex coupe when I was 21. Went through a ricer phase(badged it as an SI even though it had the stock steelies). No real mods. traded it in March of 09 for a 05 ex coupe. Old one had 113k at trade in and the new one had 46k when I bought it. Now its at 72k and running like a champ.

Yellow egay fogs
Type R front lip
Apex N1 style exhaust
6000k HIDS(low beam only)
RSX side markers(not installed yet)
Rear tow hook
Egay Short ram intake with AEM dryflow filter

I got Civic when I was about 18 or 19, my first car...
At first I hated it versus my mother's Subaru Forester because it took effort to steer and there wasn't nearly as much insulation between the engine and me. But it grew on me and now I love it!
I like how it isn't all computerized... you know... not that much that can go wrong with it as far as sensors are concerned. Thank goodness it isn't drive-by-wire. That is no fun. With my mother's forester, when you punch on the gas, nothing happens for about .25 seconds until the computer figures out the math and supplies fuel to the engine!
I gave it HID headlights last year because I was tired of the short-life Halogen bulbs that are brighter than normal headlight bulbs.
I put in a high-output alternator a while ago and bought a 2,000 watt continuous Inverter from a trucker and bought a window air conditioner to put between my back seat and trunk because i was tired of the hot summer! Made a small hole in my trunk for a high-speed 120mm computer fan to blow hot air out of the trunk..
I got train horns about 5 months ago because I was tired of crotch rockets passing between me and other cars during rush hour... turns out that the horns have many many uses!
Anyway, it a great dependable car that I'm not concerned about getting a nick or a scratch every once and a while.. its my baby though

Re: How old were you when you got your Civic. I'm 23 years old and I just got my first Civic. It's a 2009 Si. I've been driving around an '89 Acura Legend since I was 15 and it started costing more to repair it than it was worth. Don't get me wrong. The car is still a beast at its age.
Started searching around for a new car to drive and came acorss the 8th generation Si. Caught my attention immediately and it became the only car that I wanted.
After weeks and weeks of searching for one that wasn't tampered to hell with unnecessary modifications I came across one here in Georgia. I've been driving it for a few months now and it is so damn fun to drive. I couldn't be happier with my decision I'm sure I'll be uploading photos of it soon once the weather clears up and I can give it a bath.

Got my Civic as a hand me down from an Older Sister for free a couple months ago im 16, been driving it with my permit = ) I have to wait till im 17(October) to get my Probationary License.It has 143,000 miles on it.I havent done any mods besides a few neccessary repairs such as a new front passenger side bushing for the stut/spring, and a new motor mount but i have alot planned for the car i just need to get a simple part time job even if its min. wage. Thanks to all of you guys i really want to turn my Simple Civic into a Teenage Deam Car.

i got hit by a car when i was 20, about a year later i got the settlement baught my 05 sedan lx for 11,000 cash honda certified (Voided kuz mods lol) 31,000 mi. i knew nothing about cars or how to modify i just knew it had to be honda and i wanted to mod it just a little. its a great car but i wish i knew everything i know now b4 i baught the car kuz now im stuck with a D17 for another 120,000 mi. i shoulda got an ex coupe

I'm 20 years old and always wanted a civ. I rolled my Nissan xTerra this past winter (my dad's car to beef up his manhood). Bought a 2004 LX sedan, white, stock everything (no tint) for $9200 with ONLY 15,900mi and has a clean title. Apparently the previous owner bought it for their nanny to drive the kids to school in. Well the nanny became terminally ill, so they sold it, since they have no use for it. So far just had tint done, but looking for a roof rack since I surf.. and eventually rims. I will have 5 years to slowly modify it! check back then for pics haha

Almost 50! We needed a 3rd car and I saw this one for $2,750 and bought it (98 HX Coupe), figured what the heck. So now I'm asking myself, "why did I wait so long?" We have an Odyssey and I let my kids share my 07 Corolla, if that tells you anything!

Spring Break (4 months ago) Im currently 17. Just got my license 
Got a 2005 Honda Civic Coupe, Manual.
Just replaced the LED's on the rear license plate and interior.
Planning on getting a s2k next summer.

I'm seventeen, turning eighteen in December and I got my 2012 civic EX sedan just a month or two ago
At first it was mostly my parents pushing for it, while I was leaning more for a used car with more power and better looks, because then I thought the civic looked dumb. Finally we decided that it's better to have a car that's reliable and gets fantastic gas mileage rather than a used car, and I'm glad they overruled me
The more I look at it, the more I love the looks of it. It's a fantastic first car, and I'm sure I'll keep it for as long as it'll run

I first bought a 1997 Honda Civic Ex when I was 19. It had 167k on the engine and body when I got it. I sold it just before I went on this deployment for $2200 with 220k on the motor. I am now 21. I just recently bought a 1999 Honda Civic Si w/ 45k miles on the B16A2 motor and turbo system already installed. I have major plans for the car. I paid $9000 for the Si and plan on dumping another $5k into the car. Looking at achieving 300 Whp.

Wow, got my first civic at 16, it was an 85 Hatch. That was in 99. Then bought an 87, chopped the roof and made it into a convertible. Now After my 04 Intrepid just bit the dust, I am the owner of a 01 LX Coupe.
