Rep Power: 0 D17 has alot of potential
I took out my civic for a spin tonight (equipped with all the internal work done and high compression) and I must say that I owned a DC5 ITR however it was not by much. Let me be the first to say that the ****ing car pulls very hard from about 2900 RPM until rev limiter.... OMG I didn't believe that the D17 could have all this potential...... I am gonna get video clips of my next races.....

Rep Power: 0 thumbs up for buildin the d. ^^^ And done right the d has potential believe or not. Look at bisi run 10's in a single. And this past friday someone with a "stock" d-series mtr ran and beat a few b16 swap hatches and crx's. Nvr knew how good 2-step and e-cutout sounded on a built sohc

wasn't that the motor you had fully built from crower? Since you sent them your motor, they full built it for free, and sent it back to you right?
Sounds awesome! Post the numbers when you can!

Rep Power: 0 I will definately get some 1\4 mile times very soon. My mods list is:
I\H\E (The usual)
P&P D17A2 head (also milled)
AEM Power pullies Alternator only because I don't have a PS pump)
Crower stage 3 cams
Crower valve springs & Titanium Retainers
Crower Stainles steel valves
ARP head studs (tightned to 65 ft lbs)
AEM cam gear
CP forged 11.5 pistons
ACT Extreme 6 puck clutch with extreme pressure plate
ACT prolite flywheel
Tein SS suspension
Energy suspension full bushing kit
Koyo racing Radiator
B&M short shifter
DCS ITR (K20A) injectors
The only thing I need is the AEM EMS so that I could raise the rev limit on the motor.
