Battery relocation PICS
sup guys, saw a few battery relocations done and i decided to get the summit racing kit and do it too, check it out.
i think it maks the engine bay look alot better, i ran the positive cable under the car, i didnt know how it would hold up against the elements, so i ran it through a clear rubber line to protect it, the line goes from the trunk floor all the way to the engine bay where it is sealed so no water has any chance of getting to the cable. i also ran an line to the block to better ground out the battery.

looks real good! one suggestion/question... are you thinking of putting some kind of sealant on the tube that is going into the bottom of your trunk to avoid water leakage or is it a sleve that goes all the way though that I didnt see...? just wondering... looks good tho!
your ride is tight ! any worries about leaving your battery cable exposed ? cable could be cut and car broken into in no time without tripping alarm if you have one ? for some reason I just don't think running the cable under the car seems to be a good idea. open space under hood seems odd too, but it may just be the camera angle.

and lastly i didnt like the idea of running the cable under the car either, that is why i insulated it in chemical resistant, 1/4 think rubber hose. and its sealed on both ends, look at the pics.

that's why I ran two wires... one 8gauge wire that runs OUTSIDE the car, and one 4gauge wire that runs INSIDE the car... i got them beat on that one...
