ticking noise when i turn

About a month ago I spent some well earned money on a set of Eibach Sportline springs that dropped the car maybe 2.5". Well just the other day I was making a right turn and I heard a sort of ticking noise. Nothing seems to be visibly wrong, but I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this same problem. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Sportline drop your car only about 1.4 inches. But anywayz, my friend installed some lowering springs the other and it had the same ticking noice when he turns.

Ok, if you did your own spring install you should remember that there was a rubber piece that sits right on top of the spring. This piece is bigger on one side and smaller on the other. The smaller side needs to be seated on the spring. The reason your hear this noise is because when you turn, the spring turns also because it isn't secured correctly. Take the strut out and check to make sure it's seated right. This should solve your problems

No, it's not the bumpstop. It's the gasket/bushing that sits on TOP of the spring itself. Try adjusting it. Shouldn't have any damage from that. Something else it may be is the dustboot on the front, it may be rubbing on the strut shaft.

does that advice go for the neuspeed sport springs also? I have the same noise. At first all it was was ticking when I turned, but I ran over a pretty nice bump in the road and now I hear something that sounds like something is loose? When I'm driving just straight I hear something jiggling or shaking? Any help here?

i have it on my Eibachs, so ya, i'd say that any after market spring could potentially have this problem..
i did have a look tho and all seemed well, so i took it to Honda for a TD..
the guy said they'd try replacing my LF strut (under warranty of course ) ..
tho he said they've had other cars in with the same problems..
one of them ended up being a problem with some metal seperating partially (bad zaps i guess (welds)) and tight/hard rights would make it click also..

I have just lowered my car on 3/16 with the Neuspeed Sport springs at first I heard a creeking noise when I would steer for the first two days, so far in the morning. But from what I notice where the springs a coiled more tightly wound and will touch once the car is seated on the ground could cause the creeking noise. The reason being is becasue the strut and spring are also apart of the cars steering.

Also, If anyone else has these springs are you experiencing bouncy ride?

Also where the pring are more tighly wound are the the top three coils really close, almost touching?

Well please advise and chat at you people later.
