4dr 2dr suspension

Hi, so I am looking to buy lowering springs for my 2004 civic lx. While looking online some websites are saying that these Springs are only for 2dr and others say its for 2dr and 4dr. So basically i'm just wondering if there is a difference in suspension with the 2/4 dr.

Thanks!

In some lowering kits, the company has taken into consideration that the sedan is a lil heavier in the rear than the rear of a coupe. Therefore the up'ed the spring rate and/or travel of the rear spring.*

But it is minimal difference. Coupe *springs and sedan *rings are physically interchangeable.*

Okay cool thanks for the responses! These are the springs i'm looking at http://www.eracingworks.com/Megan-Ra...r-p-45145.html so these will fit my 04 lx sedan? Also those are 1.5" but I was thinking maybe 2" drop so I was looking for some before and after pictures but couldn't find any

Re: 4dr 2dr suspension

u want to go with a spring that has a lower drop in the front than the rear. because most the time, the rear is heavier. especially if u have a 4dr... or even a 2dr with a sub.

check out neuspeed springs.

Re: 4dr 2dr suspension

yeah, most of the ones that says 2 DR only will give you a lower rear, so be careful. (i do believe most will not have for 4 DR, actually.
Was wondering what it will do using a 4 DR spring in a 2DR. May be better.

Re: 4dr 2dr suspension

My old H&R's had on the box "not for EX 4 door" the rear was dropped way lower then the front.
