Koni Yellows?

I have a question regarding installation of the rear struts on a 2004 civic. I know it's been covered before but from what I have been reading most posts say that it should be a simple install with just taking out the stock struts and putting in the new koni's. But from what my friend has been telling me, I think he said he would have to drill larger holes in the strut mount to make the struts fit. Is that true? Or do I have the wrong struts? I'm pretty sure that they only make one type of rear strut for 2001-2005 civics and only the fronts have different sizes. Also, do all 2004 civics require the 55mm Koni inserts and not the 50mm?

I'm pretty sure all 04s/05s are 55mm. You could always measure just to be sure.

i remember boilermaker made a post regarding that the 01 uses 50mm, 02's were mixed, 03+ were most likely 55mm.

i have a 03 and uses 55mm. and you're correct on the rear struts part. but like mister said, its better to check yourself to be safe.
