I hate to beat the dead horse but I've been out the loop since my 4th gen ZC bit the dust.

My friend has a 2004 civic EX 4dr.

1) will these wheels below fit in 19"? (or any 19's for that matter)

2) What suspension setup (strut/spring) would you guys recommend to eliminate that fender gap. Daily driver. Money is an issue. From my reading on this board this drop would have to be about 1.75-2" right? Would it cost less than 600?

Those are 5-lug. Civics come in 4lug

19's will fit, but you can't lower that low. Eibach prokit/tokicos or some teins set at max height should do the trick. There is little chance that you will be able to drop the car 2" with 19" rims. I also suggest getting the rear fender well plasma cut or rolled because he will probably scrap the tires.

actually 19s with a 2" drop should fit...
I'm running 215-40-18s which are about the same size as 215-35-19 and i'm dropped 2.5". alignment is within spec and everything...
Only problem is, his car is a 4 door.. most springs are made to fit coupes so your very limited to choices...
I would say neuspeed sports(for 4 door), about 1.75" drop... should leave you with like a 1 finger gap all around or so

You dont HAVE to get struts. Yeah its recommended and it'll ride better but the stocks should last you awhile since its only a mild drop.

maybe get a set of GCs since its a sedan. I've heard stories of people with 19s that can only turn a certain amount until it starts rubbing.. 18s would do the trick if you ask me
