alignment question
neuspeed race springs, stock shocks! Yea he said that for people who know how to do lowered cars.. for example he put more positive toe or camber on my front tires or whatever, so they would wear better, cuz while they are lowered even if they are in the factory spec they will still wear. But if my tire is going to hit my fender if the camber is adjusted, then there is nothing i can really do right? And how do i know if my camber is adjusted all the way out? is ingalls control arms longer then stock ones?

ok did he put positive toe or negative toe but closer to zero? Positive toe will KILL your tires even more than camber. If it close to 0 but still negative than you are fine.
Yes, if your car is too low then it might hit the fender well when the camber is not the much negative. When cars are slammed that is why they have so much negative camber, to "tuck" the tire from hitting the fender. You can get your fender well bent or plasma cut and then add a little more camber. Unfortunately, lowering most cars, you need to keep some negative camber.

do you have negative camber on your rear robb? or is your car not as low as mine, i'm on neuspeed race. I think when i used to have 195/50/15 tires it wasn't a problem, but now that i have 205/50/15, the fender is in the way. Also, if when they installed my camber kit they adjusted it to maximum, then is the rear camber kit helping a lot for my car, or is it a waste?

honestly the whole they adjusted the camber kit to the max is bull cause if you look at the specs it went from what -1.7 to -1.6. the camber kit should be able to go up to 3 degree's the least... If they adjusted it as far as they could without it hitting the fender is a little more believable but even then, i had 215-40-18s dropped 2.5" with the camber still within spec. I barely cleared it but I still did, right now I have 15s on and I'm pretty sure I clear the fender by a lot... I'll try to get pics up tonight...

Dude, who are you letting touch your car? An issue with lowered cars is that the eyes for the alignment tools can't clear the bumpers of the cars. Is that an issue here? You need to find a shop with an alignment bay - a garage you drive into, and the eyes for alignment are sitting below the bumper giving you exact numbers. Or you could just eyeball it, which probably would give you better numbers than what you have now.
what is wrong with the new alignment? isn't the front in spec? He said he changed the front toe so it will wear less for a lowered car. And he said he gave the back more toe for some reason.. and the camber in the back can't be adjusted because of the fender. I don't think if i take it to anywhere else it will be any better.. because me and the manager stood there while the technician did it. Although i won't go back there again.... O and the top of the sheet it got cut off, but it said honda civic SI, and mine is a EX ..
How low is this car?? I honestly think this shoip don't know what in the hell they are doing. If I were you, I'd pony up, pay elsewhere to have it done RIGHT, then take a new printout bakc to NTB and demand my money back. I don't have specs right now, but it is very possible that an SI has completely different specs then a coupe....

I am not as low as you are but I have -2 front and -.8 rear, but i asked for that.
The cast on the left front is off and the toe in rear has been set more positive. not terribly too positive, but positive toe will wear tires. Camber looks within spec though. Again, I don't think the guy knows what he is doing.

i say just get your money back because they left your rear toe out of spec. talk to the manager or something becuase this shop has no clue on how to do alignments.

bingo!
then I went to a family-type independent shop and they got the job done right

Here you can see how far you can adjust it. Its A LOT thats why I say its bs when they say they adjusted it to the max.

Eh for whoever doesnt know how to adjust it... loosen the two nuts. turn the middle peice and that'll shorten/extend the camber kit. adjust it to where you want it and tighten the two nuts back up.

Not the greatest shot and yeah I need a car wash but you can see how much clearance I have with 15s and a ~2.5" drop. Its at -.8 degree so you can [kinda]see I can adjust it even further to like -.5 degree without having any problems rubbing
