Damaged B+G's!!
Damaged B+G's!!
Hey I got B+g's, not installed yet, I was lookin at the coilover and it seems that there has been some problems with shipping beecuse 4 of the threads are damaged like halfway up the shockbody. So, it will prevent me from adjusting the coilover all the way. My ? is, how low is like half way up on the shockbody, becuse in winter I plan on making the car a reasonable height. Should I contact b+g on this to see if they will replace it.
Also one of the spring has a chip taken out of the coating. Does this mean it will rust? should I also try and get it replaced?
And, the rubber rings that sit under the spring, I wasonly supplied with 1, with out them will I run into any problems.
I will post pics when I get the internet, (im at my gfs right now)

if the powder coating is completly chipped then it will rust...i would definetly contact B&G...im sure you spent a decent amount on cash on them, so you should get something thats brand new, not all f**ked up, u know......Give them a call and chew them out, and make them send you a new set
hope u didnt get refurbished/used set, call them asap cuz if u wait at the last moment, they gonna assume u did the damage and u just want another set. id say calling within 3-5 business days is acception
Ok guys, B+G def took car of me. They had no problem replacing everything that was damaged. Probly the best customer service iv ever had. I shipped out the damaged parts yesterday and there shipping me new ones when they recive the damaged ones.
