On dezod's website the rear comptech bar with bushings is selling for 98 $. Is that a typo?
Rob rear has 20mm bar from HR springs? I wonder how that is.

Comptech says it includes the rubber component of the bushing on its site what else do I need to mount the darm thing? Will my OEM metal bushing covers fit?
Why is the comptech bar with the tie bar so expensive?
the sway bar 99$, but the combo tie bar sway bar is 399$. What gives?

The tie bar is a marvel. Its mounts to the car's swaybar holes on spherical bearings in it so it doesn't bind, the sway bar is integrated into it with minimal bushing material so its stiff as hell, its shaped in such a way that it doesn't cause any load on the subframe.
The comptech 99 dollar bar comes with bushings that will fit in the stock brackets.
$99 buys you everything you need to mount the bar.

Does adding a front strut bar do anything since the 7th gens come with one. At least the 03 EXs do. It's not where you might think it is. It's that black bar thats back by the firewall. If you look for it you will know what I'm talking about. If you follow it it doesn't connect to anything except for the frame I think.

Everyone is willing to offer me the progress bar, I want the comptech.
Zzyzx the 25.4 going to fit my car, is it gonna hit my exhaust? I think it might be a little to hardcore as a first mod. I was suppose to get 19 lol. with 25.4 my tail end will be all over the place.

it is because there is no tie bar with it, unless you buy the adjustable $400 one. The comptech bar shouldn't break your endlinks though and is the same size. It really is 6 one, half a dozen another.

So I guess If I don't need adjustable I should go for the progress.
Cause 400$ is beyond my budget for a sway bar and tie bar.
What about buying the comptech tie bar and sway bar seperately. It wont be adjustable but will it better than the progress?

ST makes some good stuff too. I would buy the comptech bar and a generic tie. But progress is good too, but you will have to upgrade your endlinks.

some say yes, some say no. boiler has been fine without them, but you never know. It is always better just to pick up a pair. The worse that can happen is one breaks you get more understeer. Then you just buy a better set from Grey or Hotchkis or Function 7

they are the same endlinks for the RSX and civic. The type R might have different ones, but you might as well get better aftermarket ones than is on the type R.

Who knows I might just go for the 25.4 mm hotchkis with the hotchkis end links. I'll call them to find out if I could buy the rear bar only.
Zzyzx which rear bar do you have?
So far for my suspension upgrades I'm thinking
Tokiko D-specs shocks
Eibach sportlines(or tein s techs)
hotchkis 25.4 mm rear sway bar with end links and no tie bar for now.
If I gonna install lowering springs I might aswell do the shocks at the same time.

you can't buy the 25.4 by itself. Spencer (zzyzx) tried and he sold the front bar to someone with an EP3. Grey's endlinks or Function 7's endlinks are probably just as good as hotchkis and cheaper.

the 25.4mm RSX front doesn't fit our car? hmmmmmm, irregardless even if it does fit it makes no sense to change the stock 25.4mm to put in this 25.4 hotchkis bar. I don't think the hollowness really saves that much weight.
do you know who sells grey's endlinks or fnction 7's?

I may or may not fit. It depends on your trim level. Someone says the front bars fit a LX which means it might fit a DX too. But again, why change it to an equal size. The RSX front bar is smaller than ours. I think around 16mm.
Grey sells his endlinks. He is a member. Function 7 has a website and someone from their business registered here. I think his name on the site is function 7. I don't know how much their endlinks are though.
