Rear hayames noisy

There is some noise coming from my rear hayames when going over bumps, sounds like the springs coils are hitting each other.
has anyone experienced this? COuld it be my install?

518 is on a distinguished road
The locking perch is loose. And they tend to come loose every now and then. Like every three days and depending on the road you travel. The worst road you travel, the bigger chance of it getting loose.

I really wish you the best of luck...

Well that would explain it since I live in NY. Has anyone put teflon or something on the treads to stop that?

The top two nuts have to be tightened against each other. Use a rubber mallet or hammer on the spanner wrench to really tighten it up.
I thought my Hayames were fuqtup cause of this noise I kept hearing whenever I hit a bump. Turned out to be my exhaust pipe hitting the friggin rear sway bar.

That's true - if they were totally noise-free, they'd be stock, ha ha.

I adjusted everything this week and the ride is better. I think i had too much preload on the driver side rear. My front passenger side I could move the spirng up and down 1/2 to 1 inch...oppss. So all is adjusted for now. Still not 100% satisfied with the ride quality but it is night and day from installation to proper adjustments and a wheel alignment. Still think I may dump these for some Tokicos since I have nuespeed race springs already.
