clicking noise while braking

Hello, I searched the forums and couldn't find anything that seemed like it was my issue so...2000 Civic. Automatic, sedan.

When I hit the brakes to come to a complete stop (not when braking on the highway) there is a clicking/clunking noise that slows down as the car slows down. Sounds like its coming from the rear. Its not a grinding noise like when the brakes start to go. More like the clicking you hear when the rear end starts to go in a rear wheel drive car.
The brakes work and look fine. Could it be the wheel cylinders?
This is a used car I got dirt cheap so I don't know its history.

If the wheel cylinders do not leak they are fine. Check the bearings
