Did I mess up my suspension?
Did I mess up my suspension?
Well to sum up what happened:
Drove over pot hole.
Bent 18" Rim rear driver side.
Drove on donut for about a month awaiting discontinued rim replacement from canada.
Now, driver side of car is lower (less wheel gap) than the passenger side. Since the donut was so much smaller it made the car kinda lopsided while I was driving on it.
Did I do permanent damage to my suspension? I have eibach pro-kit spirings and stock struts.
Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions!

Hrmm.. maybe find a flat road and measure from the ground to the top of the fender on each side. Make sure you measure in the same spot. Check the tire pressure on each tire also. Maybe stick the spare on the other side for month and then see how it measures up.. heheh

no offense man, but I remember your other post where you asked if it was OK to dive on the donut for a long time, which you are only supposed to use the donut in an emergency. Anyways, you can't blame anyone but yourself.....
i dun think ur suspension is messed up...get that rim off, and realign your car. I drove on a lopsided wheel (****ing goodyear) for months, and my steering wheel was on a 15 degree tilt when I drive straight. When i got my car aligned, the cambers were off by 4-6 degrees! the guy at the shop was shocked... but my suspension is fine so far...i have eibach ground contols with stock struts. Good luck man! oh, and make sure ur struts didn't pop...if they did, take em in to dealership and have em replace it under warantee (if you're still covered that is)
