2002 Honda Civic Ex tire and wheel upgrade
Hi all!!! New to the forum here and I'm looking to add some new wheels and tires. I'm new into doing my own stuff auto related. I think it's a lot of fun, enjoyable and I take pride into being able to do my own work when I can. My stock size is 185/65R15. My vehicle is not lowered and I'm not looking to do so. My goal is to close up the gap in the wheel well between fender and tire and I'd even like to have the tires poke out just a bit from the fenders. Could someone give me some recommendations on tires and wheels please? What is the biggest size I could go and still have a smooth ride? Anyone with pics of a setup like this would be great to give me a better visual of what it would look like. THANK YOU!!!

If you upgrade your tires right, the wheel gap will stay relatively the same. Bigger rim diameter => smaller tire sidewall.
To answer your question, I ran 215/45-17's with 17x7 et42 rims. Very comfy ride, perfect size, IMO. That tire size messed with speedometer like.. 0.2%
