Re: Lug nuts questions

you need "tuner" lug nuts which are pretty common. just check ebay and the size for most hondas is M12x1.5

muteki is a pretty good and cheap brand.

Re: Lug nuts questions

^yea what gearbox said...

but the proper name for them is Acorn style lug nuts because they have a 60 degree angle.

the oem ones u have are probably the ball style lug nuts.

Re: Lug nuts questions

They can also be called spline drive lug nuts.

Most wheel shops should have the cheap mutegi style ones available for less than $30, but if you want a bit of flash you can get high end nuts that run anywhere from $100-500.

Re: Lug nuts questions

if u want high end lug nuts that wont blow a hole thru ur pocket, take a look at BLOX forged aluminum. quality and lightness is the same as the RAYS/VOLKS just not as expensive (ur paying for name brand at that point, plus they are JDM.....yo)

Re: Lug nuts questions

The problem with cheap lug nuts is the threads don't last long before they start to strip if you take your wheels off frequently.

Re: Lug nuts questions

Closed ended, you only need open ended lug nuts if you extended racing wheel studs.
