Rear Brake conversion thread
Rear Brake Conversion //Revised Parts List//
First off, I'd like to thank RiceBuRNeR for his original post with the parts needed for this project. However, for those of us who have attempted this DIY with new parts based on his list (instead of finding the already assembled parts in a junkyard somewhere), you know it was missing the hubs... and unless you like driving around with rear rotors only attached by lugnuts and calipers, this is not good
I have not completed this DIY yet. I ordered the parts before realizing the problem and have since updated my order to include the missing parts. I've seen other forums briefly touch on this matter, but to save the pain of meticulously searching through ancient forums, I've updated the list with new prices from Majestic Honda (www.hondaautomotiveparts.com):

1094990 003 1 HOSE SET, R. RR. BRAKE 25.71
1094991 004 1 HOSE SET, L. RR. BRAKE 25.71
Total cost: $1094.16 + S&H
Notes:
Knuckles come with spindles and bushings
Calipers come as a full assembly with all seals included
You can re-use your old spindle nuts, but because it's necessary to bend a part of them to lock/unlock them, Honda recommends you replace them.
Brake lines have been included, but I strongly recommend avoiding rubber and upgrading to stainless. www.Tirerack.com sells a set of Goodridge G-Stops for $127. And if you plan to sub the pads for aftermarket ones, you may still need to buy shims.
If I have missed anything, please let me know so I can update this list.
I hope this post serves someone well.

Re: Rear Brake conversion thread
Hi, I cant say this wasn't mentioned already for sure, but I have an 04 civic coupe, the canadian si, what car would I be able to use the parts from so they would fit properly, would an rsx work or is there something better? if I could swap them with a set having the same bolt pattern it would be easier for me and save me the time and money of swapping out the front brakes as well. Thanks
