Did mine in white to offset the wheels. Took my drums off to paint them and the fronts I masked everything off with tape and newspaper the sprayed away.

I get it, its a look thing, a ugly look thing IMO, but in any case its your car and you're intitled to make it look anyway you want.

I did both my front and rear calipers (EL has rear disc, tee hee) the same way:
I took off the wheels (did fronts together and rears together) and liberally sprayed brake cleaner on, brushed, hosed off, then let air dry. THen I just used some newspaper and a lot of masking tape to cover the discs, protect the fenders and wheelwells, then sprayed on Duplicolor Metalcast...a nice different shade of red from the usual paints most use to colour their calipers.

Yeah, no kidding...
I hate these fruit-booters that rag on people who work the exterior more than the interior.
I always say "Chicks don't care how much HP your car puts out when it's parked..."

there are several cars that please the eye that do nothing on the 1/4 however it also depends on what type of chicks you are trying to pull with a parked ride. My expierence i have only really pulled white chicks and some asian chicks with my Vic i havnt pulled a black girl yet guess there not into the whole car thing, unless its a escalade sitting on 24 inch spinners
