I read the manual and it says that I can access the parking and turn signal lights through the fenderwell - Okay. Now here goes my predicament: usually, one is not supposed to touch the glass part of a bulb else it will shatter. However, I have read the manual and all it says is that one must turn the bulb counterclockwise, then pull the actual bulb out of the socket. Do I touch the bulb or wrap it with something (cloth, paper towel, [insert something soft here] )?
Thanks.
Thanks.
It's ok if you use a clean cloth or paper towel just make sure your bare hands don't make contact with the glass part of the bulb, because if you do the oil from your hands will get on the bulb, the bulb will heat up the oil and it will break.

you can touch those bulbs (turn signal bulb and parking brake bulb). The only bulb you should not touch is the actual headlight bulb.

umm.... Well... From what i heard, IT Is ok if u touch them... Just that u have to use Isopropyl Alcohol 91% and then let it dry on its own... If u use a cloth use a Lint free cloth.
don't worry about touching the turn signal bulb.......it doesn't get as hot as the headlight one, so it won't shatter from a little oil from your hand. actually, my turn signals probably have my fingerprints all over them; i wasn't careful with them at all...and they've been fine

Don't use something that will spread lint or dust around like thick cotton cloth, you will get white specs everywhere inside your housing. Maybe use gloves, whoever said that is smart.

I touch mine all the time......
The only lights you can't touch on the glass are the headlights because they get a lot hotter. you can touch your turnsignal bulbs and such on the glass as much as you would like to.....
