2010 LX-S 100k miles service
2010 LX-S 100k miles service
Is there such a thing as a 100k miles service?
Anyhow my sons 2010 LX-S is about to hit the 100k mark. This car has been a gem so far. Not counting regular maintenance I have only done three repairs and they are as follows.
The cv axles were replaced under warranty at 25k miles. Apparently there was a bad batch that was not lubricated enough.
I installed a new bump stop in the strut assembly there was a faint knocking sound on the left strut.
Lastly I installed just recently two camber bolts to adjust the camber as the specification had gone negative.
Thats it!!! Not complaining one bit.
So , as far maintenance , not counting oil and cabin air filter , brakes , this is what I have done in the almost 11 years of ownership.
Three Transmission fluid changes at 26k , 50k and 75k ,drain and fill method and each time draining and filling about 2.5 qts 3 times. Three brake bleeds. On power steering fluid change. One coolant change including thermostat and radiator cap renewal. Clean EGR valve though it was fine.
So now I am thinking , beside the usual service stuff , to do the serpentine belt and tensioner , spark plugs.
Any other suggestions , rad hoses? Any vacuum hoses ? Anything at all that has been problematic with high mileages.
Kindly let me know.
Regards
