60,000 Miles!!
Hey guys, I just hit 60,000 miles. I never went had any maintence done beside the usual oil change every 3000 miles. I did replace sparks plug at 45, 000 and had transmission fluid changed at 45,000 as well. What kind of maintence should be done at 60,000 miles?
Civic Maintenance Schedule
Your next scheduled maintenance is: 64,000 km or 32 months

Inspect driveshaft boots.
Inspect parking brake adjustments.
Inspect brake hoses and lines (including ABS).
Check all fluid levels, condition of fluids, and check for leaks.
Inspect cooling system hoses and connections.

** Tires may require frequent rotation
dependingon driving conditions, alignment
and driving habits.
Specific Additional Required Maintenance
120mths/192k & then every 60mths/96k Replace Coolant
96,000 km & 48,000 thereafter Replace Automatic Transmission Fluid
Every 96,000 km Replace Manual Transmission Fluid
Every 36 mths Replace Brake Fluid
84 mths/176,000 km Replace Spark Plugs
Every 96,000 km Inspect Spark Plugs, Lubricate Threads and Replace if Necessary
84 mths/176,000 km Replace Timing Belt & Inspect Water Pump
100,000 km Replace Timing Belt & Inspect Water Pump if regularly driven in very low temp (-29 C, -20 F)
84 mths/176,000 km Inspect Idle Speed
84 mths/176,000 km Inspect Valve Clearance, adjust if noisy
My car is not even 2 years old it already has 50,559km
I do my regular oil change and check my fluid level and that's it. The only thing that I will have to get service is my rear suspension. When you reach 100,000km then you will have to do major maintenance.

I am right behind you with 59,000. I already changed the plugs and I cleaned & oiled my K&N filter.
I plan on changing the Brake fliud/clutch fluid, Manual trans oil, Cabin filter, and regualr Oil change. (myself)
Also throwing on some Energy Suspension control arm bushings (mine are shot). Needless to say this is going to be a very busy Saturday.
Timing belt and water-pump don't need to be changed until 100,000 or more.
If you have not at 45,000 you might want to get a valve ajustment.

Actually I was wrong about replacing the fuel filter.
Did you guys know that our cars have lifetime fuel filters.
I went to the local Honda Parts Dealer on Saturday to try to pick one up and they told me you never have to replace it unless you have to flush the fuel system for bad gas. Oh well saved me some $$
Just thought I would share this info if anyone was wondering.

Hmm... I'm @ 56800(Just this morning) so I will be there soon...
how much does all that stuff cost? I'm probably going to need a new set of windshield wipers and a new air freshener too...
