Honda Civic 2002 Won't start [solved - green key flashing]

I hope I posted this in the right thread.
My 2002 Honda Civic is has had intermittent starting problems where it turns over but it won't start. I got a jump box and I jump it when it does that and it has started just fine. Now I'm stuck at the mall because it turns over just fine but won't start I got a new battery because O'Reilly's told me that my battery was bad and still no dice. Any ideas?

O'reilly's is so full of SH*T! They told me that same thing, that my "battery is a bit weak." They use their fancy little digital tester. I purchased a battery per their recommendation. Here it is, almost 2 years later, and my original battery is still going strong. The new battery I bought has just been sitting here. Waste of $150.

My guess would be that you are leaving a dome light on and it's draining the battery. That would explain why it started with a jump pack.
However, now you have a new battery and it still doesn't start? Will it start when you put the jump pack on it now?

Will not start now. Stuck like chuck in a town I don't live in. Read on another thread to turn key to position two for five seconds then off then same thing again then try to start it, so about to try that. It's weird. Idk if it is significant, but there is clicking under the hood when I have key turned on but before I start it (or try to)

So, I got my key copied a couple weeks ago and read somewhere on the forum that it might be that, so switched to other key, did the five second prime x2, and noticed right off the green key light was not flashing like it was when I used the other key and voila! It started! Hope this helps someone else sometime!

thanks for coming back to tell what was the issue
when green key is flashing, the antitheft is still active and the fuel pump will not run
the key either was not programmed to the car or it lost the programming
