04 Honda Civic HX (automatic transmission rebuild issues)
I recently picked up a o4 hx from the auction that had an issue with the shifts/trans. Example: If I let off the brakes from a complete stop while the car was in drive it would act as though it was in neutral until I gave it gas and it would jerk into gear and make a weird sound. As well as in reverse. I tore it out completed the rebuild, but upon Re installation and firing her up, as soon as I would shift into drive the transmission would make a binding noise and kill the car. I’m gonna pull the trans to reinspect it today but Iam in no way an automatic trans specialist. If anybody has any knowledge or experience with Hondas 04 cvt I would really appreciate it. If pictures are needed for reference I can provide them. Thank you.

CVT... when the chain breaks, they usually do a complete replacement... Not sure when it's not that bad, very few do rebuilds on them
