the big metal bars that run underneath the car from the shifter to the trans.
could also be broken inside the trans

You changed it or a shop?
Was OEM honda ATF used?
Was it drain and filled or was it force flushed?
Any issues before the fluid change?
Is you're ATF fluid on full? (Remember to check it with the engine off, on flat ground)

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: wont shift out of 2nd gear
It already had these problems before you changed trans fluid?
You changed fluid, hoping those problems would go away?
Fluid level is too low? Too high?
Do you know the correct way to check trans fluid level? (trans fluid hot, engine must be OFF, check within a minute of turning engine off, etc)
If a shop did the work, what did they say when you took the car back for them to double check their work?
Did you demonstrate the issue to them?

You shifted but went too far past D?
Car has how many miles?
Got fault codes?

Crystal, still there? Wondering if your problem was resolved. Like the last reply, I'm thinking this is an automatic, no? If miles are high and fluid rarely/never changed, changing it can actually cause malfunction.
